It was not cheap in price but worth every Penney of it. I use it for selling my advertising for newspapers and magazines. I tell clients Will Rogers said I never met a man I didn't like. I say I never took a picture that you are not going to like!

I bought it about one year. it is my every day using lens. Absolutely my favorite!

I brought this lens a few weeks ago for my underwater photography kit, mainly to shoot split shots, I needed a lens that was able to go up to F22 for my split shots to keep everything in focus but also stay sharp. So far the lens hasn’t let me down! I’ve been loving it!

Very sharp lens great for landscape and architecutral work.

I’ve own this lens only for a month but I can say I love it! The last of the trio I needed form Sony

I sold my lens and then discovered that I could not do without it so I purchased another. I use it for street photography to capture the environment and subject, astro and landscape photography. I've found it's not a lens I use often but when I need it, it's invaluable. I'm very happy with the sharpness of the lens and its low light capability. Wish list, I would like it to be lighter in weight.

Although I have all the GM prime lenses within the 16 to 35 range, I wanted the flexibility of a zoom for certain shoots. I was really surprised how sharp the zoom was.

I need a lense with quality glass, speed and super quick auto focus, that helps the camera in low (flashless) light. Usable in 90% of shoots both indoors and whilst doing Landscape Photography

I purchased the lens ~ 3 weeks ago. It's my first full frame lens. I'm absolutely satisfied with it!

I bought this lens two month ago, and it is great.

Excellent build quality, producing fabulous detailed photographs.

I upgraded from the f4 16-35, and have been very impressed with the sharpness and contrast of this lens. Being f2.8 is an absolute bonus with my night photography.

My lense failed me in the middle of an event. Thank God I had some other lenses to continue working but hey… this is a very expensive lense and I had never a problem with Zeiss.

Superb image quality from the GM lens (my first one ) Expensive but when I use in low light I know what I paid for !

The lens itself is a work of art. Very nicely put together and works amazingly with the A7Siii body.

After 40 years as a Canon shooter I have made the big leap over to Sony mirrorless and am not looking back. I was slow to make the switch due to the dozen lenses I would ultimately want to replace. But I have been impressed with both the bodies and lenses. This lens is no exception. It is remarkably sharp and quick to auto-focus. Love it.

I've recently switched to Sony, and I bought this lens as wide-angle lens. It is fantastic piece of gear that I cannot suggest highly enough. Both the feel of the device and the pictures are amazing. It is sharp to a fault and it's great for high focus/boken effect.

I use the 16-35 GM for landscape photography, this lens is wide, very clear and has natural colors, perfect for the highest resolution cameras.

Really happy with the results that this wide angle lens has provided... excellent picture quality is maintained at high levels of cropping. It's a small feature but the lens hood clicks into place so is harder to fall off like other lenses. All round, very happy with this purchase and look forward to using it more
