What about Windows Mobility Center in Windows Vista?

    The settings of laptop and  adjustments of screen in one convenient location

    With the Windows Vista Windows Mobility Center screen, you quickly access your Mobile PC settings in one convenient location, and also you can carry out some simple adjustment.

    Mobility Center consists of several most commonly used mobile PC settings as the following.
    *Depending on your system, perhaps not all of the following tiles appear in the Mobility Center windows.
    If there are no necessary hardware and drives, some of the following tiles cannot appear.
    •Volume
    Move the slider to adjust the speaker volume of your mobile PC.
    •Battery Status
    View how much charge remains on your battery.
    •Wireless Network
    View the status of your wireless network connection.
    •External Display
    Connect an additional monitor to your mobile PC.
    •Sync Center
    View the status of an in-progress file sync, start a new sync or set up a sync partnerships, and adjust your settings in Sync Center.
    •Presentation settings
    Adjust settings, such as the speaker volume and the desktop background images, for giving a presentation.  
    •Brightness
    Move the slider to temporarily adjust the brightness of your display.
    •Screen’s Orientation

    Screen of Tablet PC can convert from horizontal to vertical or from vertical to horizontal.


    How to display Windows Mobility Center window and how to change the battery settings, please refer to the following steps.
    1.Click the Start button, and then select the Control Panel.


    To display the Windows Mobility Center window, you can operate according to the following steps.
    oClick the Change battery settings icon in notice area, and then click the Windows Mobility Center.

    After displaying the Windows Mobility Center window, proceed to Step 4.

    3.After displaying the Control Panel window, select Mobile PC.
    4.Select the Windows Mobility Center.


    5.Display the Windows Mobility Center window.
    *The displayed part of each item is called Tile.
    6.Click the rolling bar and button which are displayed in each Tile, you may the change settings.
    *Please take the following screen as example.
     

    If you want to change detailed items, click the icon displayed in the Tile, then the Control Panel window will be displayed.
    E.g. Click the icon , then the Sound screen will display.
