Do products that use magnets affect medical devices such as pacemakers?

I use a medical device such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, or variable pressure shunt for hydrocephalus treatment. What should I be aware of?

Medical devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, or variable pressure shunts for hydrocephalus treatment may be affected depending on the magnetic field of the magnet in the product.

If you use one of these medical devices, consult your doctor before using a Sony product that contains magnets, as some of said products may affect the medical device.
In addition, even if you turn off the product, the magnet in the product may still affect medical devices. Make sure to keep the product away from medical devices and people using medical devices.

NOTE: In the example of Sony products, parts such as speakers, headphones, cases, or the opening/closing portion of the product's package may contain magnets. Speakers may be built into TVs, cameras, or smartphones.
