When I start playback of the audio content on the PC, after a while, playback stops.

Music playback from the computer will stop if the Power Management settings on your computer are set to automatically place your hard drive into a Standby  or Sleep mode.

If you are only using the computer to stream and listen to music through the HomeShare Network system, we recommend that you change your current Power Management settings for the Standby mode in order to extend the play time. Refer to the instructions manual of your computer to check the information on how to change the Power Management settings.
