How to show the volume control icon in the task tray?
To show the volume control icon in the task tray, please follow the steps below.
1. Click Start, point to Settings and click Control Panel.
2. Click Sounds, Audio and Audio Devices and click Sounds and Audio Devices.
3. Select the Show volume control on the task bar option.
4. Click OK.
