We do not recommend changing the configuration of the factory-shipped state i.e. the release and uninstallation of pre-installed resident modules and applications.
We have confirmed the normal operation of VAIO computers in their factory shipped state.
If you uninstall modules except when Sony advises you to do so, Sony can neither guarantee the normal operation nor support possible malfunctions and the loss of data.
In case that the uninstallation of applications would cause problems to your machine, you have to restore the system to the factory shipped state using the Recovery CD-ROM.
