How to delete temporary Internet files and cache?

The procedure varies depending on the versions of Internet Explorer.

Note: When temporary Internet files are deleted, it may take a longer time to display the browsed pages.

A. For Internet Explorer Version 4.*

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. Click the View tab and click Internet Options.
3. Click Delete Files.
4. Click OK.
* To delete the offline content, select the Delete all offline content option.
5. Click OK.

B. For Internet Explorer Version 5.* and Internet Explorer Version 6.0

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. Click the Tools tab and click Internet Options.
3. Click Delete Files.
4. Click OK.
* To delete the offline content, select the Delete all offline content option.
