Why doesn't the optical light from the PS/2 mouse switch off even when the VAIO computer has been turned off?
The optical light from the PS/2 mouse does not switch off even when the VAIO computer has been turned off.
This is due to the specifications of the VAIO computer.
As the keyboard supplied with the VAIO computer has special functions such as PPK (Programmable Power Key) and the power/standby key, to enable these functions, power is supplied to the keyboard even when the computer is turned off.
As such, when the optical mouse is connected to the PS/2 terminal, the light of the mouse continues to light up even when the computer is turned off.
