To VAIO owners: Informing the end of support for Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, and Windows Me
Microsoft Corporation has announced that it will end support for Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, and Windows Me on July 11th, 2006.
The technical support, including security updates, to Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, and Windows Me will end on July 11th, 2006, after which any security update would no longer be available.
The online self-support that Microsoft Corporation offers will expire on July 11th, 2007.
