Windows 8 Upgrade Limitations

Below are Windows 8 Upgrade Limitations.

    Note: Some of the limitations listed below may or may not be applicable in your computer.

    4 Certain applications cannot opened on Metro Style UI. The minimum resolution requirement of Windows 8 Metro Style UI is 1024x768. VPCM12 Series
    5 Incorrect information is displayed in the battery icon after a fully charged battery is removed or attached when in AC mode. This is an Operating System issue and Microsoft didn't fix it on RTM build.     9 The sound can't be muted after minimizing the volume level. 1. This issue occur on Bluetooth "Hands-Free" interface.
    2. This issue occur on Broadcomm Bluetooth devices.

    12 The Bluetooth switch setting is disabled on PC settings/Wireless after the wireless Hardware switch is turned OFF/ON on Desktop UI. 1. This issue only occurs on Atheross Bluetooth device.
    2. This issue will not impact Bluetooth function.

    14 (Docking) “Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media” icon will disappear automatically.   VPCZ2 SVS131, SVZ131 Series
    15 (Docking) There is no pop-up windows message appears after pressing the undock button of the Docking Station.   VPCS1, VPCCA, VPCZ22, SVZ131 Series
    16 (Docking) “Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media” icon shows incorrect when Docking Station has been removed.   VPCZ2 , SVZ131 Series
    17 Playback of MPEG2/M2T video files using Windows Media Player, the playback screen is blank but audio is normally. This issue still occur on Win8 RTM build (9200).
    Because WMP didn't support MPEG2/M2T codec (PDVD, WMC can support it).
