What is JEITA measuring standard?

    About JEITA Measuring Standard:

    Settings:
    1. Display a desktop screen.
    2. Set the performance selector switch to STAMINA.
    3. Screen saver: None
    4. Volume control: Mute
    5. Switch off the airplane mode switch of Network

    VAIO Control Center:

    1. Image Quality -> Display Brightness: Off
    2. Mouse and Keyboard -> Keyboard Backlight -> Set the keyboard backlight action when running on battery: Do not turn on
    3. Power and Battery -> Power Saving -> Set the display refresh rate when running on battery : 40Hz

    Desktop Background: 

    1. Set the desktop background according to the size of the display. Display 1600x900F
    2. Set the desktop background to VAIO Long Battery Life Wallpaper 1600x900
    3. At Display 1366x768, set the desktop background to VAIO Long Battery Life Wallpaper 1366x768

    Common settings in Control Panel -> Power Options:
    Power Plan:

    1. Select Power Saver.
    2. Go to Change plan settings -> Change advanced power settings -> On battery:
      •  
      • Sleep -> Sleep after: Never
      • Sleep -> Hibernate after : Never
      • Display -> Dim display after : 0
      • Display -> Turn off display after : Never
      • Battery -> Critical battery level: 1

    JEITA Measuring Method A:
     
    Display Brightness
    1. Change the brightness level according to the size of the display.
    2. Go to Control Panel -> Power Options -> Change Plan Settings -> Change advanced power settings -> Display Brightness -> On battery:
      At Display 1366x768: Change the brightness level to 34%
      At Display 1600x900F, Change the brightness level to 22%

    JEITA Measuring Method B:
    Display Brightness

    1. Change the brightness level.
    2. Go to Control Panel -> Power Options -> Change Plan Settings -> Change advanced power settings -> Display Brightness -> On battery: Change the brightness level to 10%
