What do if the VAIO computer fails to share files and printer after installing Service Pack 2 (SP2) in Windows XP?

Please refer to the steps below if this symptom occurs:

※	For any network connection, Windows Firewall is enabled by default setting under Service Pack 2 (SP2).

Users can refer to the following steps to share files and printer even with the Firewall enabled.

1. Click Start->Control Panel, and then click Security Center.
   

2. Click Windows Firewall.
   
   

3. When the Windows Firewall dialogue box appears, disable the Don't allow exceptions option.
   
   

4. Click Exceptions, and then enable the File and Printer Sharing function.
   
   

5. Click OK to apply the changes.
