What to do if the VAIO computer is unable to resume from power-saving mode?

Please check the following when this symptom occurs.

■ Remove all peripheral devices and additional devices.
■ Initialize the settings of BIOS.
■ Pause running the general programs.
■ Install the latest upgraded programs.
■ Remove the installed programs.
■ Confirm the running state after restoring installation.

■	Remove all peripheral devices and additional devices. Please remove all the peripheral devices such as printer, other USB devices and PC card. If there is a memory device, please remove it and check its working state.

■	Initialize the settings of BIOS. Please try to initialize the settings of BIOS. Please refer to the attached instructions or on-line help for the procedures.

■	Pause running the general programs. The VAIO computer may be affected by the general programs running in the background. Please refer to the steps below to end these programs.

Install the latest upgraded programs. Please confirm whether the latest programs of image driver, graph driver or BIOS upgraded suitable for the VAIO computer are published. If so, please confirm the running state of the VAIO computer after installing the upgraded programs. For more details, please refer to the solution below.

■	Remove the installed programs. Some installed software may be incompatible with the Power-saving Mode of  the VAIO computer. Please confirm the running state of  the VAIO  computer after the installed software has been removed.
