How to disable the hibernation feature?
Disable the hibernation feature
1. Click the Start button and then click Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel window, click System and Maintenance.
3. In the System and Maintenance window, click Power Options.
4. In the Select a power plan window, under the current power plan, click Change plan settings.
NOTE: Since each power plan can be configured with different settings, if the current power plan is changed, hibernation for that power plan will have to be disabled also.

5. In the Edit Plan settings window, click Change advanced power settings.
6. In the Power Options window, click the plus (+) next to Sleep to expand the selection.
7. Under the Sleep category, click the plus (+) next to Hibernate after to expand the selection.
8. Under the Hibernate after category, click On battery: or Plugged in:
9. In the textbox next to selected setting, type: 0
10. Click the OK button.
