How do I get to the Desktop in Windows 8?

You can get to the Desktop by one of the following options:

• From the Start screen, place your mouse on top or bottom right corner of the screen, and click on Start charm.
• From the Start screen, place your mouse on bottom-left corner of the screen, and click on the Desktop preview overlay that appears.
• From the Start Screen, click Desktop app.
• Use the keyboard shortcut by pressing <Windows key> + D.
