    Note:
    If the unit does not start when the engine is started and the issue cannot be solved by pushing the reset button on the main unit, please perform the following steps.

    1. Turn your car engine Off.
    2. Disconnect the connection between the main unit and the battery on your car once and after waiting a few minutes, re-connect the connection between the main unit and the battery on your car.
    3. Turn your car engine On. And confirm the main unit starts up.
    4. Update the firmware of the product.

How to confirm the Model and the Firmware version

Please confirm the Model and the Firmware version from the steps below.

  1. Turn the main unit ON.
  2. Press and hold SOURCE button (SRC is printed on the button) for 1 second on the main unit to turn the source off and display the clock.
  3. Press MENU button.
  4. Turn the control dial to display SET GENERAL, and press the control dial.
  5. Turn the control dial to display SET FIRMWARE, and press the control dial
  6. Turn the control dial to display FW VERSION, and press the control dial.
  7. If the version is displayed as 2000, you do not need to update the firmware.

Details

How to update the firmware:

  1. Preparation:
    How to store the updater file into an USB memory
    • Connect the USB memory to your PC and format the USB memory with the format type, FAT16 or FAT32.
    • Connect your PC to the internet.
    • Download the compress zip file into your PC.
    • Uncompress the zip file and copy the update file 15BTWR_v2000.dat under the root of the USB memory which is connected to your PC.
    • Disconnect the USB memory from your PC.
  2. Updating the firmware of the main unit with the USB Memory
    Note:
    • Please make sure to follow all steps as below.
    • Update procedure (in your car): It takes approx. 1 minute to update.
    • Park your car on the safe place and start the engine to avoid the voltage drop of the power line.
  3. Connect the USB memory to the main unit and confirm that USB NO MUSIC is displayed on the main unit.
  4. Press and hold SOURCE button (SRC is printed on the button) for 1 second on the main unit to turn the source off and display the clock.
  5. Press MENU button.
  6. Turn the control dial to display SET GENERAL, and press the control dial.
  7. Turn the control dial to display SET AUTO OFF, and press the control dial.
  8. Make sure to turn the control dial to display SET A.OFF xx, and set this setting to NO.
    (Please confirm the display, SET A.OFF NO.) Then, press the control dial.
  9. Turn the control dial to display SET FIRMWARE, and press the control dial
  10. Turn the control dial to display FW UPDATE, and press the control dial.
  11. Turn the control dial to display FW UPDATE-YES, and press the control dial.
    Update starts with CHECKING displayed. Update should finish in approximately 1 minutes and when the Update is normally finished, the unit restart automatically from source OFF state (Clock is displayed.)
  12. Confirm that the firmware version is updated by referring to How to confirm the firmware version on the main unit.
  13. When 2000 is displayed for the version number, updating of the firmware is completed
  14. If AUTO OFF setting is used before updating the firmware, please set the AUTO OFF setting again.

Note: Please delete the existing Bluetooth Pairing information(Car Audio) which is stored in your mobile phone, and re-pair the device again. It may cause the Bluetooth function to not working properly if it is not paired again.
