I can't change audio tracks using head gestures (Xperia Ear Duo with an iOS device)
You may experience that skipping music tracks using head gestures doesn't work when the Xperia Ear Duo is paired with an iOS device.
Try these methods one after the other. Verify whether the problem was solved after each method, before trying the next one.
A. Start here
- Launch the Xperia Ear Duo app, and complete setup guide if it appears.
- If Connected appears in the Xperia Ear Duo app, follow the instructions under B.
- If Disconnected appears in the Xperia Ear Duo app, follow these steps.
- With the display on, wait 5–10 seconds for Connected to appear. If Connected appears, follow the instructions under B.
- If the text doesn't change to Connected, follow the instructions under C.
B. If Connected appears in the Xperia Ear Duo app
- Enable head gestures in the Xperia Ear Duo app. Find and tap Device Settings > Head gesture. Mark the Skip to the next/previous track checkbox.
- Play a track using your phone.
- Then try to skip tracks using head gestures:
- First look straight ahead, and then turn your head left. Then look straight ahead again to skip to the previous music track.
- First look straight ahead, and then turn your head right. Then look straight ahead again to skip to the next music track.
C. If Connected doesn't appear in the Xperia Ear Duo app
Try these methods one after the other. Verify whether the problem was solved after each method, before trying the next one.
- Turn off Bluetooth in your phone, and then turn it back on again.
- Restart the right main unit and then pair and connect the Xperia Ear Duo to your device.
- Restart your phone.
- Uninstall the Xperia Ear Duo app and then install it again from App Store.
