When many devices are connected to the Sound Bar via HDMI, some do not output sound.

    The type and number of devices that can be controlled by the Control for HDMI function are restricted by the HDMI CEC standard. If the number of connected devices exceeds the limit set by the HDMI CEC standard, HDMI device control may not work and sound may not be output. Check to make sure the number of connected devices does not exceed the limit.

    • Recording devices (Blu-ray Disc recorder, DVD recorder, etc.): Up to 3 devices
    • Playback devices (Blu-ray Disc player, DVD player, etc.): Up to 3 devices (this speaker system uses
      one of them)
    • Tuner-related devices: Up to 4 devices
    • Audio system (receiver or headphones): 1 device (may be used by this speaker system)

    Note: The HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) is a HDMI standard that provides control functions between different A/V devices.
