Image retention occurs when watching 24P content such as movies in a specific Picture mode.

    This symptom occurs when the Picture mode is set to Dynamic or Standard.
    To improve the symptom, follow the procedure below to set Picture mode to Cinema pro or Cinema home.

    1. Press the ACTION MENU button on the remote control while the content is being displayed.
    2. Select Picture in the Display & Sound category.
    3. Select Picture mode and set Cinema pro or Cinema home.
    NOTE: This symptom improves by setting Random noise reduction to Off. However, this also causes image noise to stand out.
