How to wall mount your OLED TV (A1 series)

This article teaches you how to mount your OLED TV (A1 series) on the wall using the Wall-Mount Bracket (SU-WL450) sold separately.

IMPORTANT:
For product protection and safety reasons, Sony recommends that the mounting of your TV on the wall is performed by Sony dealers or licensed contractors.

1. Prepare necessary accessories and tools
2. Install the bracket on the wall
3. Mount the accessories to the TV
4. Mount the TV to the wall

1. Prepare necessary accessories and tools

   • Accessories
     Consult the Operating Instructions from the Wall-Mount Bracket (SU-WL450) sold separately to confirm that you have all of the accessories listed there.
     
   • Tools
     Prepare the tools below.

2. Install the bracket on the wall

   1. Decide on the installation location.
      Decide where to install the TV and bracket based on the diagram below.

      Allow for suitable clearance between the TV and the ceiling and protruding parts of the wall as shown below.

      Once you have decided on a location, place the bracket base against the wall and mark the installation point using your level guide and pencil.
      

   2. Select a Wall mounting style.
      Choose between two installation methods: Standard, which creates space between the wall and the TV, or Slim, which brings the TV closer to the wall. With Slim mount, the TV feels integrated into the wall, allowing for a more streamlined appearance. The installation process differs depending on the mounting style.
      IMPORTANT：
      Regardless of which style you select, all cables must be connected to the TV prior to installation.

   3. Install the Base on the wall
      

      Follow the steps below corresponding to the mounting style you selected.

      Install the Base Adaptor to the base using the screws that come with the bracket. 3. Mount the accessories to the TV

   1. Mount the metal wall-mount fittings that come with OLED TV (A1 series)
      
      Necessary accessories
      
      Screws (M4L12), metal wall-mount fittings (WM1/WM2)
      
      
      Mount the wall-mount fittings and screws to the TV as seen below.
      
      
   2. Mount the screws and spacers that come with the bracket
      The parts differ depending on if you selected Standard mount or Slim mount. Mount them according to the corresponding diagram below.

   3. Connect the power cord, HDMI cables, etc.
      Make sure to connect the cables before installing the TV on the wall. You will be unable to connect the cables when the TV is installed.
      

4. Mount the TV to the wall

   1. Mount the TV to the bracket base
      Mount the pulley connected to the TV firmly into the base.
      The mounting location differs depending on if you selected Standard mount or Slim mount. Install according to the corresponding diagram below.

   2. Tighten the belt and fix the TV to the wall
      Take up the slack of the belt and attach it to the wall tightly. Then use a 5 mm diameter screw or equivalent (not supplied) and fix it to the wall.

      Lastly, when you are able to confirm that the TV is fixed tightly to the wall, installation is complete.
      Enjoy experiencing the beautiful images of the OLED TV as they come out of the wall.
      
      
      
      

Wall mounting precautions

• The wall should be capable of supporting a weight of at least four times the TV weight. Regarding the TV weight, refer to Wall mounting compatible information .
  
•  Be sure to use the supplied screws and attachment parts properly. If you use substitute items, the TV may fall and cause bodily injury to someone or damage to the TV.
