After the power cord (mains lead) is plugged in, it takes time for the power to turn on or it doesn't turn on.
After the power cord (mains lead) is plugged in, the system will start initializing. During this process, the power buttons on the TV and remote control might be inoperable for a while, and the LED or illumination LED might take time to light up. While the LED or illumination LED responds, it may take some time for the TV to become ready.
This is not a malfunction of the TV or remote control, so wait about 1 minute before operating.
Note: If the Operational Response or Illumination LED setting is set to Off, the LED or illumination LED will not light up.
If your TV has an Operational Response or Illumination LED setting, follow the steps below to change it:
- Open the Settings screen. How to access the Settings
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select System → LED indicator → Operational Response.
- Select Device Preferences → LED indicator → Operational Response or Illumination LED.
- Select Device Preferences → Illumination LED.
- Select LED Indicator → Illumination LED.
- Select Illumination LED.
