Termination of Non-Android TV Applications on BRAVIA Android TVs

    Thank you for your interest in Sony products.

    Due to some recent changes, you may notice that some catch up TV applications may have disappeared from your home screen under the “Sony Select” screen when you turn on your TV.

    In April 2019 only Android applications will be available to use on BRAVIA Android TVs. All other applications will no longer be accessible on BRAVIA Android TVs.

    Due to this change, to access your favourite applications, you will need to download the application via the Google Play Store. An internet connection and Google account will be required to use content services on Android TVs.

    What Android TV apps are available and how to install or uninstall the apps?

    In regard to Sony Crackle Application, please note that it has been terminated and removed from the TV as of 31st May 2019. Please proceed to the Google Play Store to download one of the many applications available to enjoy the most out of your product.
