The screen brightness does not automatically adjust.

    Check the following:

    1. Make sure Auto luminance level in Ambient light sensor is turned on:
      1. On the remote control, press the Quick Settings (spanner or gear) button and select Settings.
      2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
        • Select Display & SoundAmbient Optimization ProAdvanced settingsAuto luminance level.
        • Select Display & SoundPictureAmbient light sensorAuto luminance level.
    2. The ambient light sensor is located near the center bottom of the screen. Make sure the sensor is not blocked by anything, such as a sound bar or the TV stand.
      Notes:
      • The brightness of the TV screen may not be changing due to reflected light. For details, check the TV instruction manual.
      • If applicable, make sure the blue protective tape is removed from the sensor.

    If you feel the screen is too bright, adjust the screen brightness from the image quality settings:

    1. On the remote control, press the Quick Settings (spanner or gear) button and select Settings.
    2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select Display & SoundPicture & SoundPictureBrightness.
      • Select Display & SoundPictureBrightness.
    3. Adjust the setting as desired.
