Sound is delayed from the headset when viewing videos

Due to the characteristic of Bluetooth wireless technology, sound may delay when viewing videos.
Also, a slight delay occurs in the receiving end when making calls or during music playback.

Below steps may help to improve the situation:

    • Try to close all apps except the one you are using to view the videos.
    • Disconnect and reconnect your headphones to the device.

For headphones that are compatible with Sony | Sound Connect app, check the Bluetooth Connection Quality mode or Wireless Playback Quality on both the headphones and the connected device. Check the compatible models for Sony | Sound connect app here.

Note: The images below are examples using the WF-1000XM5.

    1. Start the Sound Connect app on your mobile device.
    2. Select the My Device tab, then select Device Settings.
    3. On the Sound tab, tap the down arrow button on the right side of the Bluetooth Connection Quality, and select Prioritize Stable Connection.

On the connected device settings (smartphone, Walkman, etc.): If you have the option to select the SBC or AAC codec in the Wireless Playback Quality setting, select AAC. For details, refer to the device manual.
