The headphone volume cannot be adjusted. (WF-C700N)

Follow these steps to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Use the touch sensor to adjust the volume.

The volume adjustment method depends on whether you set the headphone's button function assignment to the Volume Control. You can check the button function settings on the Sony | Headphones Connect app. See the System tab → Change the button function menu.

      • If the button function is assigned to the Volume Control:
        • To increase the volume: Press the assigned Volume Control button once. The volume increases by one level.
        • To decrease the volume: Press and hold the assigned Volume Control button until the volume is adjusted to the appropriate level.
      • If the button function has not been assigned to the Volume Control:
        • To increase the volume: Press the R (Right) unit button 4 times or more.
        • To decrease the volume: Press the L (Left) unit button 4 times or more.
Note: The headphone's firmware version must be Ver. 2.0.0 or later.
