About JEITA A measuring standard.
JEITA A stands for Japan Electronic Information Technology Association (Ver 1.0).
JEITA A measuring standard is based on the following conditions:
1. Switch off the Wireless LAN switch
2. Go to Personalization*2 - Desktop Background - Picture Location: Sony
Select VAIO Long Battery Life Wallpaper 1600x900
3. Volume control: Mute
4. Go to VAIO Control Center - Display - Automatic Brightnss Setings Uncheck Adjust brightness automatically.
5. Go to VAIO Control Center - Power Options and check Silent Mode.
6. Go to Graphics Properties*2 - Power - Power Source:Select On battery
Deselect Display Power Saving Technology
*2 Right-click desktop
7. Accept the use of VAIO Care.
Common settings in Control Panel -> Power Options:
* Power Plan
- Select Power saver
- Go to Change advanced power settings - Advanced settings tab - sleep
Sleep after - On battery :Never
Hibernate after - On battery :Never
- Go to Change advanced power settings - Advanced settings tab - Display
Turn off display After - On battery : 0
Dim the display - On battery: Never
- Go to Change advanced power settings - VAIO Power Management tab
Refresh Rate - Running on battery :40Hz
Color quality - Running on battery :Medium(16bit)
- Go to Change advanced power settings - Advanced settings tab - battery
Critical battery level - On battery: 1%
JEITA Measuring Method A:
* Display Brightness
1. -When it is a model equipped with display 13.1 (1920 x 1080)
Go to Power Options - Advanced settings
Display Brightness - 28%
-When it is a model equipped with display 13.1 (1600 x 900)
Go to Power Options - Advanced settings
Display Brightness - 22%
2. MPEG file for the measurement is reproduced continuously with WMP.
Do not change WMP size.
Do not set full-screen.
