    How to manually create a System Recovery Point in Windows Vista?

     


    Please refer to the following steps

    In System Properties, you can create System Recovery Point manually.
    This Recovery Point can be created independently according to the needs of users at any time. Especially before performing some actions which may lead to changes in the configuration, such as installing certain programs. 
    The created System Recovery Point displays the creation date, time and appointed names in the System Recovery Schedule.
    Furthermore, please refer to the following examples about the operation orders and categories.

    1.After clicking the Start button, right click Computer.
    Then click Properties in the displayed menu.


    2.After the View basic information about your computer window opens, click Change settings.


    3.After displaying the UAC message, please click the Continue button.
    Standard users, please refer to the following steps.
    4.If not displaying the UAC message, please carry out the following steps.
    5.After the displaying System Properties window, click System Protection and click the Create button in the pop up window.
    *When you create a Recovery Point, choose one of the discs displayed in Available Disks.
    6.After the System Protection window pops up, please input a name for your Recovery Point.

     

     


    7.You will receive a message stating that the restore point was created successfully. Please click the OK button.


    We have successfully created a restore point.
